Peace Made the Front Page!

Peace finally made the FRONT PAGE ! This year the  Maui Peace Day Concert celebrated on September 20th, made the front page of the Maui News Wrap, the free and delivered to everyone, every where on Maui, weekly paper. Truly an important First :)   Maui's annual observance of the International Day of Peace was observed on September 20th with a peace concert at the Ka'ahumanu center stage .  The eight hour concert included plenty of music, dance and song, the perfect peace promoters, with  some of Maui's finest artists performing.  Opening entertainer was Curt Lee, followed by the Ukulele Pops Kupuna band, then Jason Schwartz,  Bonnie Newman, Louise Lambert, the Hau'oli Hula Sisters, Reggae singer and Maui's Peace Ambassador, Marty Dread followed by Omar, the Kamehameha school  ukulele band, Chinese ribbon dance by Sifu Kali, Passengers Group, Christ the King youth group and the grand finale with the Maui Taiko Drummers.    The theme of this years observance is &q
